DRUMSTICK,BRINJAL SAMBAR(step by step recipe)
INGREDIENTS: PROCEDURE: 1.Cook 1 cup thoor dal with 3 cups water, little turmeric powder and little asafoetida powder(pergungayam thool). 2.Heat pan add mustard,methi (vendayam) and curry leaves. 3.Add onion,chiili( dry red chilli is more preferable than green chilli) and cook till it turns golden. 4.Add tomatoes and cook till its raw smell goes off. 5.Add drumstick and brinjal and cook it for 2 min. 6.Take the cooker with the thoor dal and add the mixture from pan, chilli powder,tamarind pulp,salt as required,corriander leaves,water 2 cups,close the cooker and remove it from flame after 2 whistles. 7.Wait till the pressure comes down,open the lid and serve it hot with plain white rice.
